Renault Clio Evolves: Meet The Production Captur
Renault Captur (Production Version) 2013
The new Captur model has finally been presented in production guise making it immediately evident that it is based upon the fourth generation Clio. The Renault-Nissan alliance have been clever about capturing as much of the compact crossover sales as it can by providing both the Nissan Juke and this new funky Captur model which also rides on the front-wheel drive “B” platform and measures 4120mm (15mm shorter than the Juke). Chunky but with sporty lines and creases, the Captur has a pleasing appearance. The two-tone paint, bold wheel design and chrome detailing are also attractive features.
Captur (Production Version)
The Renault Captur is powered by Clios engines of which the 89hp turbocharged, 3-cylinder, 0.9-liter engine and the 1.5-liter turbodiesel with 89hp and only 96 g/km of C02 will be savvy choices.
More details about the model will come to light in March when the Captur makes its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
