Jeep Cherokee 2014

At the end of the month, Jeep will produce its new ‘crossover’ Cherokee which is front-wheel-drive and uses the new Compact U.S Wide(CUSW) platform which is also used on the Alfa Romeo Giulietta and Dodge Dart. The slit-like lights which are possibly borrowed from the new Alfa Gloria Concept don’t seem to work as effectively on such a large vehicle but the headlight to taillight crease is very flattering, while the extra chrome, colour-coded features and body-cladding blend the notion of sportiness and quality well. It is due to go on sale this autumn and according to Jeep it will demonstrate “best-in-class capability, exemplary on-road driving dynamics and a 45 per cent fuel economy improvement compared to the outgoing mid-size SUV model (the Liberty).”
