ENGINE MODIFICATIONS
toyota 3s-ge 2.0l acis dohc 16v
the car originally came with a 2.0l carb engine
swapped for a 2.2l 5s-fe (camry), and later a 3rd gen 3s-ge from a celica st-202
previous mods which were on the 5s-fe
-replaced the injectors with 295cc
-replaced ecu with a gotech pro x stand alone
-converted the distributor ignition system to coil on plug (last week)
using a 60_2 trigger (waiting for the 36_1 to arrive from uk)
-replaced exhaust manifold with twin down...
-adjustable fuel pressure regulator
-simota cone air filter
-3" (inside) muffler with 4" tip
now with the 3s-ge
-for the first couple of months was running on the same stand alone ecu as before.... recently replaced with the stock 3s-ge ecu running along side an apex`i air flow converter piggyback for improved fuel economy...
-otherwise the engine is stock...
future plans...
-t3/t4 garett turbo
-ems stinger stand alone ecu
-forged pistons from je pistons
-550cc injectors
-air oil cooler
-cusco twin plate clutch set
-blitz electronic boost controller
.... this is all i can afford at the moment but as soon as cash flows in there`ll be more towards handling and stopping power
