Subaru’s racy Justy is small in size and big on impact
Overlooked the standard Subaru Justy because it didn`t have enough street-cred? Well now there’s a 1.0-litre Twin Cam Special Edition to seduce you back to the Japanese quarter.

To increase the urgency of buying one, Subaru has promised to make just 100 of them, 50 in Black Micra and 50 in Shining Red. On top of the original spec you get a roof spoiler; twin exhaust system; over roof ‘viper stripes’ and side decals; leather and alloy gear knob and rear privacy glass. Being a 1.0-litre you also get excellent economy (64.2mpg on an extra urban cycle) so if you live in the sticks and want road tax for £35, you’ve got it made. Full electrics, driver aids and plenty of safety features are all part and parcel. The price is £9,995 for the special Edition which is just £695 above the standard price and of course Subaru are cashing in on the premise that Japanese cars are uber reliable.
