VW Tiguan receives the R-Line look
Here’s your spot the difference challenge: the standard Tiguan and the new sexier R-line. There’s improvements inside and out so have a good nose at this modified specimen and see if you come up with the goods.

You probably spotted the 19” multi-spoke alloys and new 255/40 tyres. Did you get the body-coloured front splitter and that matt chrome grille? The rear bumper has undergone some cosmetic surgery too; there’s a small diffuser as well as a spoiler sitting above the back window. A couple of other subtle modifications are the body-coloured sill extensions with matt chrome highlights. Inside the Tiguan R Line gets a new flat-bottomed multifunction steering wheel, a set of contoured sports seats complete with ‘R’ logos and aluminium pedals and trim. The Tiguan R Line can be specified with a choice of five colours; Candy White, Reflex Silver, Deep Black, Biscay Blue and Mountain Grey. Prices start at £24,635 for the 2.0-litre 140 PS model rising to £26,305 for the 2.0-litre TSI range-topping engine and they’ll be in showrooms from June.
