It`s electric and pretty too
Using a Citroen C1 donor car, The Electric Car Corporation has developed the ev’ie which is the UK’s first 4 seater all electric production car.

The new C1 ev’ie doesn’t scream electric when you look at it and we’re told it’s quiet and comfortable enough to disguise this fact too. It will only reach 60mph though which might just cheese a few drivers off if you took it on the motorway but around the city and on a local commute, it’s great. A 60-70 mile journey will cost around 90p and although you have to charge it for around 6 hours before hand, the task is easy enough as it just requires a domestic 13 amp socket. Mayor Boris has also committed to 25,000 ‘juice points’ charging stations around the city. So if you’ve got the £16,850 to spare initially you could be converted to electric pretty soon.
