Why would we be so interested in yet another limited edition XKR? Perhaps because it isn’t even road legal and therefore doesn’t have so many constraints upon it which means we get to see what the manufacturer is really capable of. The brief was all about performance and perform it will at next weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. But if this isn’t enough to shake up your pleasure receptors then maybe you will get just a little stirred by its accompanying XFR prototype which is the fastest ever Jaguar to date. With a top speed of 225.675 you could blink and miss it but let’s hope you don’t as it’s quite a treat.
