Consumer reports show that the 2011 Toyota Sienna just isn`t what it used to be. It had held the top-rated mini van title for three years on the trot but now it seems as though that crown is slipping

The 2010 Sienna model was awarded an overall score of 94 points in consumer reports and had held the top-rated minivan title for three years on the trot. The current 2011 model despite getting more equipment and a facelift was only rated with 80 points overall. The slip for the Sienna it seems is the poor fit of the bodywork and the cabin noise. Shamefully the six-year-old Honda Odyssey has stolen it`s title and as if to rub salt in the wound there`s a new Odyssey on the horrizon. Whether or not Honda`s new model will share the same fate as the new Sienna model though is not yet clear. The Mazda5 and Ford Flex are also arch contenders for the title and have been rated very well so there`s plenty of choice for American consumers.
