Novitec Fiat Punto Evo 2010
Alfa Romeo and Fiat tuning specialist, Novitec, has annouced an extensive program for the Fiat Punto Evo.

Starting with the engine tuning, Novitec used their PowerJet 2 auxiliary control unit (419 euros) with plug-and-power technology for the 1.4-liter 16V MultiAir turbocharged gasoline engine to produce 118 kW / 160 hp from the standard 99 kW / 135 hp. Peak torque increases from 206 to 246 Nm at 1,780 rpm. 0 to 100 km/h arrives in 7.9 seconds while top speed increases to 209 km/h. The PowerJet 2 upgrade for the Abarth Punto Evo increases output from the standard 120 kW / 163 hp to 135 kW / 184 hp. For all Punto Evo diesel engines the NOVITEC POWERRAIL 5 modules (335 Euros) takes just a few minutes to install and gives the most powerful diesel unit in the lineup, the 1.6-liter 16V MultiJet, 106 kW / 144 hp with a peak torque of 356 Nm.
For that special exhaust note NOVITEC offers stainless-steel sport mufflers which are EG certified. The sport exhaust is available in no less than 26 different versions. Prices start at 200 euros.
In the appearance department NOVITEC headlamp moldings and the NOVITEC spoiler, which is optionally available with an additional blade add some aggression. That impression is further enhanced by the X-one-look hood with power domes and integrated hood scoops. NOVITEC side sills, rear spoiler and the rear diffuser, which is available in three different versions, gives that popular racing look.
NOVITEC N10 alloy wheels with ten double spokes are available in 17 or 18 inches. They are available in two versions with silver painted or polished black surfaces. The largest version features size 8Jx18 wheels with size 215/35 R 18 tires. A complete set sells for 1,310 Euros.
Rounding out the package NOVITEC offers sport springs for use with the stock shock absorbers or height-adjustable stainless-steel coilover suspensions for the Punto Evo. The lowering rate can be adjusted from 35 to 75 millimeters. The top-of-the-line suspension also allows varying the damper rates.
