Speedriven Mercedes-Benz SL600 heads for CNG record
Currently a 700hp Audi S4 holds the CNG Speed record but Speedriven and HighMount Exploration and Production are set to change this with a 2007 SL600 Mercedes-Benz roadster. The natural gas monster produces some 800hp and 1,000lb ft of torque and it is hoped once the aerodynamics are tweaked that it will top 240mph.
