Nobody wants to be the underdog on the track, with this in mind Briggs Automotive Company presents you with the advantageous Mono which is based on the Ariel Atom but weighs 160 pounds less by using a carbon-fibre shell wrapped around a single-passenger steel cell. The engine in BAC`s example matches that of V8 equipped Atoms with 280hp and 207lb ft of torque from its 2.3-liter Cosworth four-cylinder engine. This is married up to a Hewland six-speed sequential gearbox. Sadly only 35 will be made priced at £67,000.
