Porsche 997 GT2 IN COMBINATION WITH MC650 – by mcchip-dkr
The vehicle that leaves the halls of the Dr. Ing h.c. F. Porsche AG from Zuffenhausen is, in fact, anything but an everyday car. They have rebuilt the quite broad range of very different models – in terms of motor and design – by now, such as the Porsche 997 GT2, the sixth generation of 911 model since 2004 which has become a little closer to Urelfer version of 1963 model year, when Harm Lagaay, a former Porsche chief designer, re-inserted round headlights.
The tuning company mcchip dkr from Mechernich undertook such a Porsche 997 GT2 to adapt this race car to the road and “rebuild” it to generate even more prestige. The team led by CEO Danny Kubasik has the car already equipped with 530 hp and 680 Nm of torque 3.6-liter turbo “Stage 3/MC650”, the kit of modified turbochargers, high-performance charge air coolers including silicone Tube Set, Cargraphic 200-cell sport catalysts and manifolds. All of this along with the Stage 3 software KUBATECH optimization demonstrated remarkable 657 hp with maximum torque of 835 Nm. KUBATECH has slowed or metered torque so that the Porsche 997 GT2 is still mobile on the race track for everyone. Both hardware and software technology would provide well over 900 Nm easily, but it would have a negative effect on driveability.
The complete reconstruction, including the absolutely necessary coordination takes six to eight working days and costs almost 23 000 Euro. The vehicle owner receives a unique specimen, whose forces are enormous, yet manageable. While the others are just untroubled...
