Is its BMW equivalent really worth €37,000 more? Performance stats certainly wouldn’t suggest this. Mercedes’ C63 AMG Black Series Coupe adds 30 PS to its original power stat bringing the new figure to 517 PS while the torque is a 640 in Newton metres. Keeping its four seats but dropping 44 lbs in weight, the limited edition aims to be useable for every day purposes while still being performance focussed. It will be priced at €100,000 in its home country of Germany and will also take on the 2012 Porsche 911 GT3 hybrid of which prices are yet to be announced.
