BlueGreen Eliminator is the transformation of a C63 AMG Performance by Wimmer
When Wimmer RS, which is one of the major chip-tuners on the tuning scene, presents a street car, everything must fit. - Germany is slowly making preparations for the winter and Wimmer RS’ tires are squealing during the work on the "blue-green project". The pros from Solingen see the properties of the car in their own way: sport camshafts have been installed and the cylinder head was developed during the transformation of the V8 engine which capacity amounts to 6.3 liters. The incoming air is being optimized and hence improved by a sport air filter by K & N.
Manifold, down pipe and special sport catalysts from the HJS are the next starting points. A hand-made stainless steel exhaust system from the Wimmer House, which is finely tuned to deal with all the power of the engine, completes the mechanical alterations. These alterations deprive the eliminator of a brutal sound that can also be controlled in three stages via an electronic throttle control by the Wimmer House.
The adjustment of the WIMMER engine electronics goes without saying. Its function is to make a round steady driving experience thanks to high-quality mechanical modifications.
The result of all these measures is enormous 601 hp and 720 Nm of torque - a value which will certainly be liked by the real car freaks.
The engine specific weight is 2.79 kg / hp. As a result, the flatout is 329 km / h. The engine conversion price is 19 900 €.
Wimmer RS mounts a clubsport coilover suspension by the KW Company in order to get a better control on the road– the price approximately amounts to 2.600, - €. When behind the wheel of BBS - CHR VA 8,5 x19 and 9,5 x19 HA - you can recognize a MOV`IT-ceramic brake system of 380x40 mm with 6-piston brake calipers at the front and 362x28 mm with 4-piston brake calipers at the rear. These characteristics allow brake calipers cruelly biting the front axle and rear axle disc brakes, thus ensuring superb braking. Prices for this brake system start from 22.000 €.
When you look at the blue-green project by Wimmer it looks like almost all modifications have been made by the Wimmer. The car features Dunlop Sport Maxx GT 235/35-19 and 265/30-19 tires.
Thanks to complete foiling of the body with blue and green /matte, the left lane on the highway is voluntarily vacated. Technical implementation of this not very simple task to complete foiling has been performed by the Cam Shaft Company in Kempen. The aforementioned company has demonstrated their extraordinary creativity once again. Foliation price is 2975, - €.
