Audi’s arduous journey to the top class began in 1979 and lasted about fifteen years before it could come up with an entirely independent A8 model with such special technical features as quattro four-wheel drive and an aluminum body. This car is a successful competitor against the company’s well-established rivals Mercedes-Benz and BMW.
This very A8 – which technical components also find adequate use in VW Phaeton – has now undergone a course of treatment by ANDERSON Germany which has provided it with even more (snake) bite. The complete varnishing in opaque satin gray perfectly matches the exclusive sports line, while the radiator grill, the logos in the front and in the rear, the door handles and the panels remained in glossy black. The body kit provided with LEDs includes front and rear aprons, side skirts and the fender also equipped with air intakes. The mirror covers as well as the tail flapper and the grill rim are made of carbon.
The wheel-tire combination is 22 inch rims” with 265 tires in glossy black with a rim in the body color. The brake caliper, in its turn, is varnished in shiny black. All windows and the tail lights are tinted. In addition to the visible lowering, the exhaust system which can be adjusted by remote control in three sound stages - provides 16 hp more than the original system due to 18 kg less weight – is “just” audible. The installation of this exhaust system with a racing catalyst as well as a sports air filter and optimized software has resulted in the cheerful 442 hp instead of the original 350 hp.
The interior design provided by ANDERSON Germany is equally top-quality. The inside door panels, the center consoles and, most certainly, the exclusive sports steering wheel are perfectly finished with carbon fiber. The complete interior finishing in gray leather with a balanced mix of leather and Alcantara in light gray is complemented to everyone’s delight with a sound system featuring headrest monitors, speakers, a subwoofer, an amplifier, and a Playstation 3.
