Four Year Love Affair: Virtual Works Racing Toyota Supra
This motor started life as a daily run-around and had the capacity to run a quarter mile in 11 seconds. However it was entrusted to Dana Westove, the owner of Virtual Works Racing who two weeks after its purchase had replaced the turbos with the company`s own. In fact he completely dismantled the Supra and built it up again with all manner of custom items including the intake manifold and driveshaft. As the power started to get ridiculous, the transmission got a bit wobbly and a Chevy`s TH400 was used in its place.

It now has to ground 1,308 horses, runs the quarter mile at 8.72 on boost at 157 mph and 168.3 mph on nitrous. The project cost a grand sum of $50,000 and is currently the only full weight Toyota Supra to be managing to get into the 8s on the drag strip.
