Bet you haven`t seen one of these for a while? Their 4 year stint in limited production between 1999 and 2003 and their many optional features meant many fell into the hands of serious collectors. Now owners who want to update their beloved sports car as well as add to its rarity are offered a full customised package by German Tuning firm, Senner Tuning.

A new air filter, a welded exhaust manifold with a stainless steel silencer and flame tubes complete with metal catalysts take the new performance figure to 450 hp (an increase of 50 hp) and the torque is also up by 35 Nm to 535 Nm. The German Tuning firm has also fitted the BMW Z8 with an adjustable coilover suspension and strut bar. Other adulterations include some very attractive 19" Work Schwert SC1 wheels in Diamond Black varnish as well as Racing Gold varnished brake calipers. Senner Tuning claim the € 18,900.00 will be a long term investment as there were only 5,703 BMW Z8s made and their customised versions are said to make up a new elite. As much as we agree the work they`ve carried out is tasteful and beneficial, modifications in general can instead lead to depreciation. it just depends on who your selling it on to and what their preference is when it comes to factory or customised extras.
