We know that the RCZ THP 200 engine (which it uses) is capable of 197bhp and 203lb ft and this is quite a jump up from the next most powerful standard 208 1.6-litre THP petrol model with 156bhp and 192lb ft.
Various exterior upgrades will give the Peugeot 208 GTi a sportier presence and inside there will be a scaled-down flat-bottomed leather steering wheel, a gear lever partley made of leather, aluminium pedals and Nappa leather sports seats. There will also be brushed aluminium for the background of the instrument panel and LED backlighting. The centre console touchscreen also comprises many useful vehicle functions as with the stock 208 and this includes internet connectivity.
