Smashed It: Hennessey Performance Twin-Turbo Ford GT Standing Mile World Record
After three days of thrashing this Hennessey Performance 2006 twin-turbo Ford GT, owner Mark Heidaker and driver Mark Heidaker finally struck gold with a standing mile world record speed of 257.7 mph. With the kick of Accufab Racing octane the pair were hitting speeds of 216 to 230.6 mph on the Friday which rose to 250.1 mph by Saturday. The 257.7 mph was set in the cool conditions of last Sunday morning at Texas Mile high speed event in Beeville. They smashed the record by 4.6 mph.
