Car Specifications & InformationCAR REF NUMBER: CAR MAKE & CAR MODEL: CAR COLOUR: OTHER INFO: when aston martin released the updated vantage coupe there was little doubt that the company`s racing division couldn`t wait to get their hands on it, so after six months of development they have finally unveiled the new 2009 vantage gt4. based off the 4.7-liter v8 vantage, the gt4 features a recalibrated engine management system specifically tuned for racing and a free flowing exhaust system. other changes include a retuned suspension for better handling and improved body control, a revised braking system which features larger discs for improved cooling, and the option of having it come equipped with a sportshift transmission. compared to the v8 vantage, the gt4 weighs 300 kg less thanks the removal of virtually all the standard interior trim. instead the interior has been outfitted with a high-strength steel rollcage, recaro competition seats and a lifeline zero 360 gas extinguisher system. the company is currently taking orders for the £96,645 gt4 and the first deliveries should begin in january. |
